Friends of Hedonisia
We define Hedonisia as "an ever fluctuating community of independent travelers".
One of the ways we bring together the words "hostel" and "community" is through " Friends of Hedonisia".
Many volunteers stay here, do their work, have and great time in Hawaii. And then they leave.
However, some Volunteers at Hedonisia go the extra mile in enthusiastic support of what we are doing here through their hard work and through friendship. They are the type of Volunteer who go above and beyond the call of duty without seeking recognition for everything they do. In other words, they care for the place whether or not someone is looking over them. In addition, some Volunteers also become personal friends after their time here.
And so, as our way of showing appreciation and as part of our spirit of community we created the designation Friends of Hedonisia as a way of welcoming our friends back!
As a Friend of Hedonisia you have the following benefits:
- Priority Volunteer: Friends of Hedonisia are welcome again any time at Hedonisia Hawaii based on availability. This is especially important when the hostel is full. However, be sure to reserve as much in advance as possible to ensure we have a space for you. We only ask that you pay for one night as a Priority Volunteer.
- 3-day Minimum Fee Reduced: If you return within 3 months instead of the 3 day minimum Registration Fee you only have to pay one day. If you return from three months to a year then there is only a two-day minimum as a Guest. However, if you are returning after one year we will deduct 25% off any accommodation package that you choose.
- Friends & Relatives Discount: We offer a 10% discount to any of your close friends or relatives who you send to us either as Guests or Volunteers.
- Hardship Discount: If you are unable to pay the Discounted Rate due to financial or personal hardship then write to us and we will work something out. When you were a Volunteer here you really helped us. So we will try to return the favor. That's what friends are for :-)
