Cosy Romantic Studio Vacation Rental Condominium in Hilo, Hawaii
While it is great to live in the jungle a wonderful town or city can also be an enjoyable experience. For us, Hilo is the most beautiful quaint town of "old" Hawaii.
For our own use and also to offer Guests and Volunteers the option of a Hawaii "town" experience we purchased a small studio condominium in Hilo.
We have refurbished Hedo Condo in an Eco-Hedo style and now offer it as a romantic vacation rental in Hilo.
This condo has a Private Ensuite Bathroom with a "rainfall" shower head and handheld shower attachment..
Features include a Mini-Fridge, Microwave, and a Guest swimming pool.
We also have a private balcony with an ocean view that includes the cruise ships coming into the harbor.
Since our recent purchase of this condo we have made the following improvements:

Rental Prices the Hedonisia Hilo Condo are as follows:
- Nightly Rate: $79 + HI Taxes = $89.60
- Weekly Rate: $385 + HI Taxes = $436.67

For longer term rentals there is a Maid-Service costing $22.50 per cleaning which can be arranged through the Reception Desk.
Summer 2012 Monthly Rental Specials.
- Monthly Special! This summer we are offering a short term special of $850 per month (plus 13.42% HI Tourist rental state taxes) during the period May 1 to November 1, 2012. (No deposit necessary)
- 6-Month Rental Special! If you rent for the entire 6 month period then the residential tax rate for a rental of six months or more is only 4% so you save compared to the vacation rental tax rate.
The Hedonisia Condo is part of a 'condo-tel'; consider it like a hotel room! You can even order room cleaning service for $30! Because of it's central ocean side location, there are many fine restaurants within walking or cycling distance.
Please note, as a condotel this studio has no kitchen. However added features include a Mini-Fridge, Microwave, Electric Kettle and basic utensils.

Bicycle Distance Attractions & Rental:
Hilo is a bicycle friendly town. Though there are not many dedicated bicycle lanes you can ride (slowly!) on the sidewalks and the roads are not so congested.
Nearly all the major shops and attractions of Hilo are within walking or biking distance.
