Stage 2: Sustainable Community Manager Apprenticeship Training Fee.

Based on past experiences, we do not automatically let all applicants receive the Hedonisia Community Manager Training. Instead when we have had a chance to live and work with you for two weeks we can then let you know whether you qualify for the Manager Training. Of course, we know this is a two-way street.

Whilst we have had many volunteers and guests who totally enjoy the Hedonisia Hawaii Community we understand that the apprenticeship is not for everyone. After living and working here for two weeks you will also know if this is a good fit for you. If you enjoy your initial two week Tryout and want to stay longer then you can request the Community Manager Apprenticeship Training.

Joie - Community Manager 2012

Sustainable Community Land Care Manager 2012

The Land Care Manager is responsible for landscaping, gardens, basic property maintenance and to supervise Volunteers.

Of course, you are still using your brain for much of the work you do but the emphasis is on body and physical work. This is for couples or singles who like to work 'on the land' and on the physical structures on the land.

A Land Manager is someone who enjoys working physically as they will also be an example and inspiration to the volunteers who are working under their direction.

Experience with gardening is a plus but a truly strong desire and enthusiasm to learn is also okay! We get many city dwellers who want to get dirty in the soil again and grow food. We give them that opportunity!

2 - Sustainable Community Care Manager

Manager Apprenticeship with a focus on Heart work!

Actually, all the Manager Apprenticeships have a focus on 'heart work'!

This is because, as an Apprentice Manager you will be living and working with a small group Eco-Tourist Guests, Fair-Trade Volunteers and other Sustainable Community Managers on 4 acres of Hawaii paradise. Human relations definitely qualifies as heart work!

Yoga Teachers, Therapists, Nurses, Hospitality workers, Managers, Tour Guides or any other job that involved working closely with people are all jobs which we consider as 'heart work'!

Artists, writers, and other creatives are also doing heart work. We are a community that supports creative projects!

So if you are experienced with 'heart work' then you might want to apply for your Manager Apprenticeship with this focus!
